Last week I went attended a day organised for our group Charity Champions. These individuals work hard above and beyond their day jobs to fundraise for our charity of the year (Save the Children). It was great to meet a selection of such passionate people – what an inspiration!

A few weeks ago I went to a networking event in the Security and Fraud division of the group. It was so interesting to hear about other parts of the business and the potential possibilities for my next placement outside of HR in the business.

My name is Lyndsay Cherry and I will be starting the HR Graduate Scheme in September 2011, based in London. I graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Psychology and went to work for a boutique executive search firm for 18 months as a Research Assistant in the HR team. I then applied to the HR scheme at Lloyds Banking Group in January 2011 and after a challenging interview process, it was so rewarding to get the phone call to say I had been accepted on to the scheme!
