This is my first blog of the New Year and the time is continuing to fly past on my first placement. The announcement of exclusive talks with the Coop for the divestment of 632 branches has really ramped up the pace on the Verde project, I have been stretched over and above my day job as an Infrastructure Project Manager. As part of the IT TSA team I am continuing to support the deal team in their negotiations; providing commercial schedules and most importantly acting as a gateway for the legal teams into the technical IT solutions and services.

We have recently received communications of our next placement, I will be moving into Enterprise Architecture Design (EAD) in a role as an ‘Infrastructure Solution Architect’. I am really pleased with this as my next placement, as I was keen to move from my Leadership role into a Specialist role, and in particular within EAD Infrastructure Architecture. I will meet with my new Line Manager over the next couple of weeks to discuss the job role and what I can expect in terms of development. On a personal front we are in the midst of moving flat as 2/4 graduates are moving off to other locations outside of London, so it’s a fairly hectic time, but good fun.

I’ll keep you posted, if anyone has any questions please feel free to leave a message.
